Case History
Silvelox are the market leading specialists in the production of high quality timber residential doors, headquartered in Italy and established over 45 years.
Based on a corporate strategy to establish wholly owned subsidiary companies in key export markets, Silvelox UK Ltd was set up in early 2007. The ambitious UK business target was to double sales within the next 12 months.
The final customers of their products are homeowners / self builders or property developers, at this very high end of the market, the role and influence of specifiers and referrals from existing customers is known to be critical.
With a dedicated sales team in place, the marketing requirements both on and off line were defined as lead generation. Their aim was to engage with an agency with capabilities across disciplines, to set up and run a series of test activities in order to determine the most effective communications strategy. They were looking for an agency to support them throughput the journey and grow the business in parthership with them.
The Key requirement from The Haystack Group was to short cut the long list process and to delvier a verifed list of suitable agency candidates for the Uk and Italian teams to meet. In addition, consultancy advice was required on best practice for how to manage the latter stages of the process including the briefing, evaluation and final selection.
